Killeen Community Clinic Fundraiser

Celebrating 30 years of dedicated service to the Killeen, Texas community, the Greater Killeen Community Clinic recently hosted their annual fundraiser with a dazzling Great Gatsby theme. The event was a night to remember, featuring high-end catering, lively music, photo booths perfect for capturing memorable moments, and a fundraising casino that kept guests entertained. Established in 1994, the clinic began as a response to the community's need for transportation and affordable medical care. Over the years, it has grown significantly, expanding to two evenings per week by 1999. By 2002, the clinic introduced bi-monthly mammogram clinics, thanks to a Komen grant. The clinic's resilience was tested in 2005 during Hurricane Katrina, when it provided critical medical care to over 1,000 evacuees. After receiving substantial grants, including $60,000 for Katrina families and $300,000 for facility renovations in 2011, the clinic now offers a full range of primary health care services, serving as a vital "medical home" for many in the Killeen area. For those interested in capturing these moments, photography services in Killeen, Texas, are essential for documenting such impactful community events.
